Potential

Matthew 5:14-16 (NLT)
You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. ... let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

>> How can you let God's love shine through you more brightly?

This kind of brings me back to a debate we were having in cell a few months ago. Do we do street evangelising? Or do we evangelise by loving our neighbours, so that when they see us being different from the general crowd, they will naturally want to know more about why we are different and in turn, about God?

I think both sides of the argument will let God's love shine through us more brightly.

If we do street evangelising, people will start wondering what faith it takes for us to approach complete strangers to share with them the Good News. When we explain about God's love, they may bask in His light and will take a step towards their salvation.

On the other side, according to Luke 10:27, "Love your neighbour as yourself", we can really let God's love shine through to all the people we interact daily. Ultimately, God has planted us on that field so that we may in turn, plant seeds into our neighbours' hearts. In His good time, they will grow.
